Dementia, treatment and hope

Pulsations Podcast, the podcast of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), has produced an episode devoted to the way in which dementia is treated at the HUG. In this episode, a patient at the Memory Centre who was recently diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's disease talks about what this has meant for her and her partner.

Prof Frisoni and Dr Lathuilière, both neurologists at the Centre de la mémoire, talk about patients' journeys through the centre and future developments in pharmacological treatment.

Prof Unschuld and Dr Eschmawey, psychiatrists, also mention, in certain cases, the care provided in a safe environment for the patient.
